Great Family Trip Idea!
The Barlow Ranger District and Mt. Hood National Forest are sponsoring a living history display and pioneer wagon camp at White River Station Campground along the Barlow Road (Oregon Trail) September 13-21, 2008.
Interpreters dress in pioneer clothing, live in tents and cook their meals over the fire. You can talk to the interpreters and they’ll tell stories to bring our pioneer ancestor’s to life. It sounds like a lot of fun! Call before going: 541-467-2291. Try to visit Laurel Hill, too, if you can!
